| EP936A is a Low Power HDMI 1.3 transmitter suitable for portable applications. The chip is compliant with HDMI Rev 1.3b specifications. The chip converts input video data in RGB or YUV format and audio data in IIS, SPDIF, DSD or HBR format into HDMI differential signals. The chip supports display resolution from 25Mhz to 148Mhz TMDS clock. With this frequency range, the chip is able to support normal 8-bit mode up-to 1080p and 10/12-bit deep color mode up to 720p and 1080i. The chip also supports 10-bit to 8-bit Dithering which enables the chip to transmit 10-bit deep color video in normal 8-bit mode. The chip is designed with a highly flexible video interface in muxed 18-bits mode or non-muxed 36-bit mode input. In both modes, the chip supports single or dual edge clocking. Video input format can be RGB, YCC444 or YCC422. Embedded sync input format is also supported. |

• On-chip YCC to RGB and RGB to YCC conversion in ITU-R BT.601 and 709 color space
• Programmable Single/Dual Edge Clocking Mode
