Overview
EP92H1 is a Audio Interface Converter which converts the audio among different interfaces. This chip converts the audio input data in IIS, SPDIF, DSD or HBR format to the ARC/eARC TX. Besides, this chip converts the input from ARC/eARC RX to the digital IIS, SPDIF, DSD or HBR output. This chip also provides the SPDIF data extraction and converts to IIS format. The chip is compliant with HDMI 2.1 specifications.

•For eARC TX, support AIF (Audio InfoFrame) Transmission
•For eARC TX, support eARC U-bits Message Transmission
•For ARC TX, convert the digital SPDIF/IIS to ARC signalling in single mode or common mode
•For eARC RX, support up to 8-channel unencrypted LPCM audio and unencrypted IEC-61937 compressed audio to IIS or SPDIF output
•For eARC RX, support up to 8-channel LPCM audio and HBR audio
•For eARC RX, support up to 6-channel DSD audio
•For eARC RX, support Channel Status and AIF (Audio InfoFrame) Extraction
•For eARC RX, support eARC U-bits Message Extraction
•For ARC RX, convert the single mode or common mode ARC signalling to digital SPDIF/IIS output
•On-chip MUX to switch the eARC/ARC decoded audio and the audio from external input pins
•Support 3 Generic Data Packet buffers for eARC TX U-bits Message Transmission
•Support 1 port of SPDIF audio input (without the need for system clock), 4 ports of IIS audio inputs or 6 channels of DSD audio inputs
•Supports Power Down Mode
