Overview

EP9853 is a low cost high performance 2-port HDMI receiver which is compliant with HDMI 1.2a and supports Digital or Analogue Video output up to UXGA and1080p. The chip integrates 2-port Equalizer Switch, HDMI core and HDCP engine in a single chip.

‧ On-chip YCC422 to YCC444 conversion
‧ On-chip YCC to RGB and RGB to YCC conversion in ITU-R BT.601 and 709 color space
‧ Support 24-bit RGB or 24-bit YCbCr 4:4:4 or 16-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 digital video output
‧ Support Port Swapping in Digital Video output to ease PCB layout
