Overview

EP9432 is an HDMI 1.3 4-IN 2-OUT Repeater with Audio Output which is suitable for Full Matrix applications. The chip supports 4 HDMI input ports (Port 0, Port 1, Port 2 and Port 3), 2 HDMI output ports (Port A and Port B) and Audio Outputs in IIS and SPDIF. The 2 HDMI output ports can be from the same or different sources. The audio output and HDMI output can be selected from the same or different sources. Also, the chip supports 4 ports of on-chip EDID RAM. This will save system cost quite a bit. The chip is compliant with HDMI 1.3a and supports SD/HD Audio and Video in 12-bit Deep Color up to 1080p (225 Mhz TMDS clock).
